Businesses that are better than their website says they are.

Wealthfare works with Canadian owner-run businesses where the work itself is not the problem. The reviews are good, the referrals keep coming, and the calendar is full enough. What is missing is everything a stranger sees before they call you.

What we look for

Five things we can see without ever speaking to you.

If we have got in touch, it is because at least two of these were true from the outside. None of them are hard to fix, and none of them require you to change how you do the actual work.

  1. The site was built once and never revisited

It loads slowly, the phone layout is broken or missing, half the photos are stock, and the copyright line in the footer is a few years out of date. Customers read all of that as a proxy for how you work.

  2. The Google Business Profile is unclaimed or half-filled

No hours, no service area, three photos from whoever set it up, and the last review is from a while ago. This is the single cheapest thing to fix and usually the one nobody has touched.

  3. Nobody asks for reviews

The work is good and the customers say so, but only in person. Meanwhile a competitor with worse work and a review habit sits above you in the map results.

  4. Enquiries land somewhere nobody watches

A form goes to an inbox that is checked on Sundays, calls go to voicemail during a job, and quotes go out and are never followed up. The lead was paid for twice: once to attract it, once when it went cold.

  5. There is no way to book or pay online

Every appointment costs a phone call and every deposit costs a chase. For anything with a calendar or a recurring visit, this is the largest silent cost in the business.

Industries

Where most of the work has been.

Trades and appointment businesses, mostly. They share a shape: the owner is on the tools or with a client all day, the phone is the main channel, and the difference between a good month and a bad one is how many enquiries got answered.

Not on the list?

The pattern matters more than the trade.

If your business wins work on trust and loses it to missed calls, slow quotes, or an online presence that undersells the workmanship, the same fixes apply whether you are a roofer, a dog groomer, or an accountant. Get in touch and we will tell you honestly whether we are a fit.

One message. Zero pitch.

Tell us what is leaking (calls, quotes, bookings, visibility) and we will tell you which fix pays back fastest.
